Hello everyone, it’s Lindsey! Well, it looks like I’ve already fallen a little behind in my Project Life album so today I’m playing catch up and sharing my week five layout using my Petite Kit for February from The Wild Hare Kits. Check out
the process video here to see how I combined elements from my kit
with products from my stash to create this pocket page.
For the base of my title card, I used one of
the 6×6 Heidi Swapp papers from my kit this month and layered up some alphas, a
phrase sticker, and a chipboard frame. Most of the embellishments are from the
Pink Fresh Studio Indigo Hills 2 collection and pair nicely since I requested
that my Petite Kit match that collection for this month.
I didn’t have a lot going on during this week
so I chose to just document photos from my stepsister’s bridal shower that we
had that weekend. There were a lot of different colors in the photos so I
decided to print them in black and white so that they’d pair well with some of
the dark blues, purples, and black that I’d be using. I just added a few die
cuts and a chipboard piece to embellish the photo a little.
I wanted to keep the journaling cards fairly
simple so I used some grid patterned paper from my stash and then dressed it up
with the washi that came in my February Kit. I layered a chipboard sticker, cardstock
phrase sticker, and a Shimelle puffy heart to the photo of my stepsister.
This journaling card was made with the same
grid patterned paper from my stash, a piece of washi and another Shimelle heart
from my February Kit. I had been itching to use the Heidi Swapp stamp set that
came in my kit this month! I finally got to use it by adding this “making
memories together” sentiment, stamped in white ink, onto this photo of my
sister and I when we went out to dinner together.
There wasn’t a lot of empty space on this photo
of my sisters and stepmom so I just added some Heidi Swapp cardstock stickers
that I’d received in a past kit from The Wild Hare Kits.
I didn’t have any more photos or journaling
that I needed to add so I just created a 4×6 filler card. I used another Heidi
Swapp paper from my kit this month and added some die cuts and a phrase sticker
from the Indigo Hills 2 collection that I had in my stash.
Until next time!
