Today I am using my gorgeous March kit to create this bright and pretty floral layout.

I fell in love with the Sunny Day’s Maggie Holmes floral paper called ‘Apple Blossom’ the beautiful shades of pink over a citrus coloured background is beautiful and as soon as I saw it all I could think about was fussy cutting!

So after spending the morning cutting out the sweet Apple blossoms I set about arranging them on to a lemon yellow Bazzil card stock I received in the kit, the flowers looked beautiful and complemented the plain card stock so well. Naturally I had to go for a diagonal layout (that’s so often what I gravitate toward). I added the flowers to both corners, bumped them up on foam before adding some final touches.

I added some enamel dots from my stash in coordinating pink and yellows, a small heart embellishment by Pink Fresh studio from their new ‘Everyday Musings’ layered sticker pack. Finally some photo corners from the Heidi Swapp Colour Fresh ephemera pack.

To finish off the layout I added a title ‘Galle’ a place we visited in Sri Lanka using the ‘spooktacular’ thicker set in a gorgeous gold with black foam and some journalling in a pink pen.
