Hi friends, I am back on the Wild Hare Kits blog with a new guest designer project: yay! Today I would like to share with you a minialbum that I created to showcase some of the many photos of my recent vacation in California.
Since it was a road trip, I decided to make a… hippie van minialbum!
I chose one of the many cut files with this shape that you can find in online shops to realize it. For the cover, I cut the full shape with all its pieces, while for the pages I used only the contour. I decorated the cover with the stunning acrylic piece by Bramble Fox — saying “Adventure” — that was included in my kit and I replaced the windows of the van with a shaking pocket, which I filled with an awesome excusive mix of sequins by SpiegelMom Scrap.
For most of the pages I used a blocky structure, with pictures (backed with tissue paper and pieces of patterned paper), die cuts and puffy stickers of the Out and About collection by Pinkfresh Studio.
I used foam tape to raise some of the elements and create dynamism. I also added colourful enamel dots everywhere. On the background of one of the pages, I created a sparkling texture with a stencil and glitter paste.
Once all my pages were ready, I bound them together with two metal rings, which I placed on the top and decorated with ribbons.
I hope you liked this project. You can also find a flip-through of the minialbum with some more explanations on my Youtube channel. Enjoy!
