Hello everyone, it’s Lindsey! Today I’m creating another 8.5×11 layout using my May Deluxe Kit from The Wild Hare Kits. I’ve been really busy and don’t have tons of time to spend on any one project so I’ve been using layouts I’ve found on Pinterest as inspiration this month since it helps to speed up the process. You can find the layout for today’s inspiration here and don’t forget to check out the process video on my channel to see how how this layout came together.
For my husband’s 40th birthday he requested that we go to Medieval Times (cue huge eye roll LOL). I took tons of photos inside but they were all super dark and weirdly colored so this selfie of us in
line was the only decent one I could use for documenting this event. I used a tag die to cut the photo into a tag and then layered some different strips of patterned paper behind it.
I love how it looks like the photo cluster is clipped onto the layout (but everything is firmly secured with adhesive so it won’t fall apart over time).
The reference layout had a cluster of brush lettered phrases but I chose to use a variety of phrase and word stickers from my May Kit and stash. I also added “Medieval Times” using some alpha stickers
to act as a sort of title for this layout.
This layout was super quick and easy to put together and I only added a few heart stickers and watercolor splatters as final embellishments.
Head on over to the shop to request your next kit from The Wild Hare Kits to document your special moments!
Until next time!
