This month the challenge was to Scraplift the lovely Kate and boy did we have fun with her full on, layered up style.
Here is how everyone took inspiration from Kate this month.
Jess: I decided to look back at some of the crafty and mail related pieces that Kate has created rather than just focusing on her scrapbook layouts and this one jumped out at me. I love how much there is to look at, how all the layers draw the eyes in and how many different textures there were. This is so far from my minimal scrapbooking and I wasn’t sure I was going to like the finished product but I had so much fun and I love how it turned out. I couldn’t spend this much time or this many embellishments on every layout but when I want to I will definitely remind myself of Kate as a source of inspiration. I used the Pinkfresh Studio, Just a Little Lovely collection and Spiegelmom Scraps sequins for my layout.
As Kate is just starting to do more scrapbook layouts a few of us chose the same layouts – it’s so fun to see different people and different products lifting the same layout. Here’s a gorgeous wreath design:
Sanna: I chose to scraplift this particular layout by Kate, because wreaths are something that everyone does at the moment. AND her layout is way cute!!! It also required me to do lots and lots of fussy cutting and layering which I don´t do that often. And the funny thing is that it was so much worth all the cutting! I love my layout!!! So thank you Kate, for a great inspiration – I had a blast scraplifting you J! I did a boy page which was a bit of a challenge to do a wreath with, but thanks to my amazing kit and the gorgeous Cuckoo Clock Truly Grateful Collection paper, I had the wreath figured out in no time.
I am also intrigued to do some happy mail in the future, which Kate is so good at doing!! So I might come back for more inspo later <3 !!!

And the same layout by Daniela
Another favourite layout by Kate was this beautiful floral one.
Brande: The chance to scraplift Kate this month is so exciting. She creates so many projects that are well beyond the usual traditional scrapbooking I tend to stick to. I was tempted to stretch my creativity and pick one of her happy mail, tag, mailbox, and more projects with loads of dimension to lift but when I saw this The Wild Hare Kits product inspired, floral fussy cut design layout I could not resist! Wow! I absolutely love this layout and can see myself using it as a go-to in future! Next, I definitely need to flip it and give it a go on a Travelers Notebook layout.
So this month I decided to do the scraplift and incorporate it into my Bible Journaling and I absolutely love how it turned out. I chose to scraplift this beautiful layout from Kate (@kittyk8): You can read more about how Leah lifted this layout into her bible journalling in her blog post coming up on the 30th of this month.

And this gorgeous layout with handmade embellishments
When I saw this layout by Kate, there were no doubts in my mind that I wanted to try making my own little embellishments by cutting out hearts. I layered them from the top right to the bottom left of my page and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how this layout turned out! Thank you Kate for the inspiration!
