Hello everyone, it’s Lindsey! I’m in the process of going back and documenting photos from past years and today I’ll be using my April Petite Kit from The Wild Hare Kits to create a fun, colorful layout documenting a photo from when my boys were about 8 months old.
This layout was a little out of my comfort zone because I don’t typically use this many bright colors but it was a lot of fun digging through my past kits and busting through some of my stash.
I used a rainbow geometric paper behind my white cardstock and this allowed me to use a wide variety of colored products on the layout. Most of the ephemera pieces were from the Amy Tangerine Stay
Sweet collection but I also mixed in some pieces from Jen Hadfield, Crate Paper, and Heidi Swapp that I had received in past Wild Hare Kits.

hidden journaling spot.
This little date cluster helps to balance out the layout but is functional at the same time. After I got the main elements on the layout, I went back in and added smaller stickers from the Jen Hadfield
Patio Party collection and some Pink Fresh Studio Enamel Stickers to add even more color and interest.
To balance out all of the bright colors and to help the flow of the layout, I added some black watercolor splatters (being sure to cover my photo and title so that they would continue to be the focal
I love how easy it is to mix and match colored products when The Wild Hare Kits has already done the hard work of coordinating the kit for you! Head on over to the shop to order your own hand curated kit
and maybe try stepping out of your comfort zone for colors or products.
Until next time!
