Hey friends!

If you’ve been following along, Laura from the design team, and I ordered a “twin kit” for the month of June from The Wild Hare Kits. We thought it would be fun to receive the same kit, assign the same projects to ourselves and see what we would come up with! We did DIY embellishments, DIY tags and a scrapbook layout. I thought it would be fun today to share what I made and I would encourage you to go to Laura’s Instagram (@laura_rahel) and YouTube to see what she made as well!

Firstly, I created these DIY tags. They are so simple to make, yet can be the cutest gift to a pen pal or added touch to a scrapbook layout. I layered doilies from my stash along with die cuts and chipboard from my kit. I added enamel dots and thread to some as well!

Next, I made this layout using the cute cut file that came in the kit. I absolutely love the colours in the papers I got this month and feel this cut file goes so well with the summer vibes!

Lastly, for the DIY embellishments, I decided to make rosettes. They can be a little tricky and finicky at first, but I would definitely recommend trying them! I cut apart words from one of the papers in my kit and topped off each rosette with enamel dots. I think they turned out adorable!

Like I said earlier, please go check out Laura’s social media to see what she made with the exact same kit!

Happy crafting!
